Front Porch

Here's one idea I have for the front porch. I can't have the sofa but I can have a love seat and two chairs and a small round table like the one the lamp is sitting on. Perhaps there might even be room enough for the coffee table, but I would have to see. Unfortunately, there's not enough wall space to have the furniture facing the mountain view, but we hope to have the hedge high enough soon to block most of that view due to privacy issues.

I even love the color of the cushions. Sometimes you can find these sets for sale at Walmart, but they are usually brown. a can of spray paint could fix that. I love the idea of having a lamp on the patio so the round table idea would be cool too. We could have our electrician put in a plug easily enough as there is one in the craft room where the window is currently.

We already have brick accents on the porch and stairs. As you can see a small love seat can fit under the window so I will have to look for a vinyl wicker set like the one above that has one of those.

I like this rug found at Walmart. It's called Sheridan and an 7 x 10 is only $57.00.

I'd like to replace all the windows on the house with dual-pane windows like this, even getting rid of the garden window, but as with all things it depends on our budget.

Hopefully, the Lord will get me a job and soon after we will be able to make improvements to the house.

Eric's not fond of wind chimes but he said he likes the bamboo kind and I love wind chimes so I will probably get one like this one from Home Depot.

I wouldn't mind getting a rain chime but they are so expensive. The cheapest nice one I found was $97.00. Good grief!
